????????????

potentially 8 points lost ..

how could that not effect game??????????????

What?

Jabbar coverd his first drop. No points lost.

Even if he caught it, the Patriots would have been about 5 or more yards short of the first down. Unless things broke right, they only lost 4 points.

final score?

4 points didnt effect game?

4 points plus some additional time off the clock.

I believe that drop when Caldwell was uncovered occured on 1st and 15. Had he caught that ball, he had some yardage there on the run. Patriots hit next pass over the middle, a nice gainer. That drive surely would have resulted in at least another 1st down, possibly an additional 4 points, and at least another minute or two off the clock.

It definitely effected the outcome of the game.

I guess the Pats are regretting now not paying Branch the money to stay.

And the old, washed up kicker who apparently wasnt worth the money? Not that a clutch kicker makes THAT big of a difference...i mean...im sure vanderjact and doug brien would be perfect in the playoffs through the first three rounds too! Oh wait...they've never gotten that far....
