gustoonarmy
Mince Young goes to the pro-bowl and Rhodes doesn't ....what the .......? If the NFL wants to enhance the importance or is it impotence of this event they should make sure the right people go on merit , not the old school tie. 124
Tom Brady and probably the other was Steve McNair... certainly wasn't Pennington.

#27TheDominator
Tom Brady and probably the other was Steve McNair... certainly wasn't Pennington. You could make a pretty fair case for Pennington over Young. Funny thing is, when I went to look up the stats I accidently left it on '06 post-season. Chad has the highest qb rating in the AFC this post-season.

Barton
J.P. Losman would deserve to go before BOTH Young or Penny IMO. Right on, toon88. VY making the probowl is just an nfl hype job, like they did w/michael vick and all the probowls he's been too. It will sell more VY jerseys for sure. I am embarassed to hear a QB who throws more interceptions than touchdowns makes the probowl. What a facking joke.
Blackout
I am embarassed to hear a QB who throws more interceptions than touchdowns makes the probowl. What a facking joke. TD-INT ratio is very innaccurate in judging QBs. have you ever looked at Joe Namoths stats before? you'd think he was Jake Plummer for crying out loud. #27TheDominator
lol, Young wasnt even the 12th best quarterback in the conference, what a joke.... They aren't that far off. He was at best the sixth guy asked. At least they didn't ask Roethlisberger.
Beasted05
They aren't that far off. He was at best the sixth guy asked. At least they didn't ask Roethlisberger. ahh, inspite of everything, Roethlisberger still threw a lot of TDS this year to go along with a lot of picks even though he didnt play every game. putting Young in there is a joke. Chad deserved it more, McNair deserved it more, Losman deserved it more, hell, even Jake plummer deserved it more, and Leftwich mightve even too.... faba
The whole Pro Bowl is a joke anyway to me- nothing to get upset over unless you miss out on a vacation to Hawaii.
Beasted05
The whole Pro Bowl is a joke anyway to me this is true. Vinny only went to the pro bowl twice and he played 20 years!!!
Barton
TD-INT ratio is very innaccurate in judging QBs. have you ever looked at Joe Namoths stats before? you'd think he was Jake Plummer for crying out loud. Explain to me how Td-int ratio is very innaccurate. You throw too many INTs in a game, ya usually lose, thats pretty accurate. Good QBs dont throw more INTs than TDs ok. Namath played in a different era altogether. No comparison at all.
chad2colesin06=---
this announcement made me throw up a little in my mouth, he was the worst passing qb in the nfl besides the one and only andrew walter and he was barely (and i can prove it with stats) above average rushing, the whole he wins games arguement is bs. Gainzo
Who watches the Pro Bowl anyway? I can't recall the last time I watched it. Apart from Rhodes and Brady being shafted I don't care who plays or who wins.
The Troll
This is no more ridiculous than him winning Rookie of the Year. In fact, I'd say it's less ridiculous.

The only thing more ridiculous is someone saying Kellen Clemens and Brodie Croyle are going to be better than Vince Young and Matt Leinart. Kentucky Jet
Who watches the Pro Bowl anyway? I can't recall the last time I watched it. Apart from Rhodes and Brady being shafted I don't care who plays or who wins. Chad Pennington is 31 next year. And he's not the future. I just realized it when I saw it on this board. True! They guy is getting on and still has only played 1 full season.
serphnx
He's certainly better than Rivers, that guy tried to actively lose the last 8 games (including the postseason). Over in the NFC Tony Romo has a spot I believe, someone should work on getting him out as well.
