I just bought an antenna for my office and set it up here last week. Loving life. The only problem is they curse too much on the Stern Show. Have to keep the volume really low.

The last song I listened to was Brooks and Dunn, "Believe". Great song actually.

If you are subscribed to Sirius, why don't you just listen to it online while you're in your office?

Because I have an office with a window. Want to show off to the "cubicle contingent".

Anyone can stream audio, lol.

Well if that's the case, get yourself a 20' whip antenna with a tennis ball on the end of it and weave that sum bitch through three cubicles and straight out the window. That oughta turn some heads. That's how we do it here in Kansas anyway.

Angels and Airwaves - The Adventure

Yeah, I'm feeling sappy right about now, just had to have one of our dogs put down about 30 minutes ago.

I wanna have the same last dream again

The one where I wake up and I'm alive

Just as the four walls close me within

My eyes are open up with pure sunlight

I'm the first to know

My dearest friends

Even if your hope has burned with time

Anything that is dead shall be re-grown

And your vicious pain, your warning sign

You will be fine

Hey oh here I am

And here we go

Life

BTW, didn't read the second part of your post. Sorry to hear about your pooch. That's always a terribly hard thing to do...

Thanks, it really makes no sense at all. That dog grew up around all women and when we took him in, he absolutely hated me. To this very day, he still hated me and I tried hating him too but I just couldn't.

Motley Crue - Looks That Kill

Now listen up

Shes razor sharp

If she dont get her way

Shell slice you apart

Now shes cool, cool black

Moves like a cat

If you dont get her game

You might not make it back

(pre-chorus)

Shes got the looks that kill

That kill

Shes got the looks that kill

That kill

(chorus)

Shes got the looks that kill

Now shes bullet-proof

Keeps her motor clean

And believe me, you

Shes a number thirteen

The church strikes midnight

Shes lookin louder and louder

Shes gonna turn on your juice, boy

So she turns on the power

(pre-chorus)

Shes got the looks that kill

Slaughter - Up All Night

(and when morning comes).....

up all night, sleep all day

up all night, sleep all day

(musical interlude)

when evenin comes

I am alive

I love to prowl around in the streets

Its the moonlight

that controls my mind

NOW I've got the power to speak, yeah

(awake from dusk to dawn)

under the city lights

(stars are shinin down)

theyll be shinin down on you and I

(and when morning comes)

I'll hold you till the mornin light

everybody sing it now

up all night

sleep all day

up all night

sleep all day

thats right

ah ahhh ahhhhh

drivin down the boulevard

all alone

the neon signs are callin my name

find me in the corner

havin the time of my life

I think youd wanna do the same

(awake from dusk to dawn)

under the city lights

(stars are shinin down)

theyll be shinin down on you and I

(and when morning comes)

I'll hold you till the mornin light

everybody sing it now

up all night

sleep all day

up all night

sleep all day

thats right

up all night

sleep all day

c'mon c'mon

up all night

aww baby if we could stay up

24 hours a day

uuh

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh...

(guitar solo)

(awake from dusk to dawn)

under the city lights

(stars are shinin down)

theyll be shinin down on you and I

(and when morning comes)

I'll hold you till the mornin light

everybody sing it now

up all night

sleep all day

up all night

sleep all day

c'mon c'mon

up all night

sleep all day

that's right

up all night

sleep all day

up all night.............(fade out)

(fade in)

land where our fathers died

land of the pilgrims pride

from every mountainside

let freedom ring

Amen. But whenever I go to get one I just stand there infront of them all wondering WTF do i really need.

IMO, you don't need any of them. There is really no practical place for one unless you run/walk alot. The most useful thing I have found for my wife's Ipod is that it can plug into my son's Blueman Group keyboard so he can play along with his favorite songs.

The Real Thing - Faith No More

FNM SUCKS!! J/K, one of my two favorite bands. If you like FNM, check out Tomahawk, it's Mike Patton's new band.

Is that the album where Norah Jones sings on one of the tracks? Pretty good stuff, didn't see a Patton/Jones tune coming.

I don't think that's the one, it doesn't ring a bell anyway. Tomahawk actually has a couple albums out now. Patton dabbles in a little bit of everyting so nothing would really surprise me.

I am playing with my myspace page, so right now i am listening to me pummeling a chick's cookie with an Old Milwuakee powertool on the radio.

So first they make really cheap beer and now powertools? What next?

By the way, for all of you who don't have satellite radio at work, I thought I would mention this site again. http://www.pandora.com/ My XM and Sirius internet accounts are both down right now so I've been listening to it. IMO it's even better because you type in a band that you like and it plays other similar bands.

He could've just smoked 3 packs of reds a day and gotten the same effect he was looking for.

:) Well yeah, it's obviously not for everyone.

I dug it. Where are they from? Who are they? What's their history?

Have you ever heard of Refused? Check these guys out. They're no longer together and the video sucks, but I love the tune. I think it was used in the movie, Friday Night Lights.

The band is called Tomahawk. The singer is Mike Patton former lead singer for Faith No More and Mr. Bungle.

you can get all the xm channels free, along with tons of others using aol radio.

Thanks for the info but I'm subscribed to XM and Sirius in my vehicles anyway so we get their online for free. But like I said I prefer these sites that actually play songs that are more aimed at my tastes.
