NJ 132,946 Posted February 27, 2005 He was just in concert in the town I work in. Concert hall filled with MILFs Yeah Gunner - saw him at the House of Blues in Chi a couple months ago and it was MILF heaven. Have a hilarious story that goes with that but it wouldnt be in keeping with the board tenants - I'll PM it to you.

NJ 132,946 Posted April 27, 2005 Hey NJ met Ronson in a small bar in Woodstock once when his wife's band Arabesque was playing up there-I always loved Ronson and told him "hey Mick me and you are probably the only 2 people in this bar who own all your albums"-he looked at me like he wanted to punch me and walked away.It was a compliment LOL.(I still feel bad about that one) Since then I'm very careful not to insult people I respect-a lesson well learned by the time I met Bruce Springsteen thank God I would have been devastated had I been such an a$$ talking to my hero You probably didn't mean it as an insult SFJ - he really never had the following he was due because he was always somebody else's axe monkey. I heard his Rats album one time (dont think it was released here)and he had some very kick tail blues licks on it. A great guitatist from a great era of rock. Would love to hear whay NJ and the others on the board have to say. dude - she's doing things in stocking feet on one pedal that I can barely do with both pedals on my double. Incredible. Scuse me ... going to take my shoes off, throw on some argyles and head to the kit in the basement .. 1

Anything with Emerson was good listening. Heard that Lemmy actually was a roadie for these guys before Hawkwind evolved.
