What are u listening to right now?

Recommended Posts

I have watched The Departed three times in the last week and a half so that is my excuse for listening to this song during that time.

Mark Wahlberg has come a long way in the last 15 years.

thank you they didn't show Jett (Jeff) once in that video-just another case in point on how much better music was a decade ago

I must admit that I like that song.

Jeff was coming to my gigs with a friend of mine back in the summer of 04 and he had some of my CDs and said it was all he was listening to-I wish he would have talked his band into doing a few on THEIR CDs-or maybe had fired their lead singer and hired me-he also asked me why I was playing songs by all his friends and not his band

I've told you this before and I'll say it again: Your rendition of "All the Young Dudes" is awesome.

Not that my opinion counts but I thought I would throw it out there.

yea that was fun-it was our first time doing it-I'm not sure we did it many more times after that night-we used to learn them at practice and go do the gig-sometimes they worked sometimes they didn't-I was never afraid to fail up on the boards

That was '95 when you did that (according to your website). Do you still have the same blokes in the band?

I play solo acoustic now G-I got sick of trying to find reliable musicians down here and also-the money NEVER went up since I moved down here in 86-87...bands are still making like 400 a night-at best...some nights I walk home with that much by myself

Cool. If I'm ever in you neck of the woods I will check out your set.

I'll be the guy at the bar shouting, "SoFla........Jets suck!"

Then I will demand Up on Cripple Creek or All the Young Dudes!

Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon

Hair Nation on Sirius is awesome!! :headbang:

I was going to ask what the heck you were listening to!

It's either Hair Nation on Sirius or Arena Rock on cable music channel... I wouldn't purposely go and pull my old Ozzy CD's or any of that old stuff for that matter. I like the music, but I'm not stuck in the 80's-90's!!!

Yesterday on VH1 they were airing Classic Albums and we watched the making of Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast. That was cool to see.

When the Sox game finishes I will be putting on some tunes. I'm in a hair metal mood right now. Ratt, Def Leppard, etc.

Kinda funny. Sox game ends and I turn over to the Arena Rock channel and what is playing? "Shake Me" by Cinderella.

Something like that. :deshade: I was 11 or 12 when this album came out... didn't really know what the F it was about. ha ha. My poor parents had no idea what I was listening to! ha ha

I saw Whitesnake in concert back in '88 or '89 at the Worcester Centrum. They were awesome.

I can't believe I just made that confession!

Whitesnake were badass back in the day.

David Coverdale may have been an ******* but he could sing. I saw them when Stevie Vai was in the band. He was great.

NO!

First day off in a few weeks. 70 degree forecast today, no rain. Gonna take the Mrs. shopping today.

Then why the heck are you up so early?

I commend your sacrifice. You are a good bloke. If you are anything like me then you must hate the Mall.

I'm up at 4:30am on workdays. So I got up at 6:30am today. For me that is considered sleeping in.

The mall is not really a sacrifice for me. Just gotta look for the stored that I like too!

Bed, Bath and Beyond? j/k. Enjoy your day.

Haha. I'm a little stuck in the past!

Just bought the new Whitesnake album off iTunes... so far so good.

They have a new album? I thought David Coverdale was dead by now!

BTW: I saw Whitesnake in 1989. Awesome show.
