Dcat
so tell me.... should Mick Jones (Foreigner) sue Kenny Wayne Shepherd for plagiarism? This new tune, just released, is very good, but the chords are directly from Foreigner's Urgent. try 45 seconds of each from the beginning and tell me that Mick Jones shouldn't be filing a lawsuit. Not unlike Cold Play's rip off of Joe Satriani (which was settled out of court with no admission of copyright infringement).

Least accidental copycat in rock history. Coldplay sounds like what ever leftover U2 stuff Brian Eno had lying around anyway. First few times I heard CP thought it was i fact U2. munchmemory
This gem showed up on my YouTube recommendations today. Until then, I was unaware of its existence. This is a must listen for all Rush fans, especially @Kleck, @southpark, @peebag and @Larz. Their sound at this venue in Cleveland--in 1974--just blew me away. They were in very great form. Hope you all dig it too. Unfortunately, the dope who uploaded it does not allow embedding. But here's the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbiOJ2fiqNM

I remember in HS playing Bastille Day, Anthem, 2112 and Circumstances as part of our bands RUSH tunes. Got VIP a few years back and met them and had wine with them. Sound check, went onstage before the show. I pinch myself to this day.

Integrity28
Somewhere deep in this thread, someone posted a song by Volbeat - I came across it the other day, and have been listening to them a ton lately. Thank you.
