Then either Chris Houston (CB Arkansas), Justin Blalock (OG/OT - Texas), Tony Ugoh (OT Arkansas), Josh Beekman (OG Boston College), Marcus McCauley (CB Fresno State) or Darrelle Revis (CB Pittsburgh) will be there for the Jets' taking at 25. Please, PLEASE, let this happen. Nate Clemens is not going to be a New York Jet, baring a vast change in Tangini's approach and if he falls that far, Blalock can play both G or T... you can't ask for much more from an Offensive Lineman.

I'm hoping Blalock can fall for us in the 2nd round. Does anyone think that will happen ?

I don't think he would get past Detroit (depending on who they take with their first pick) or Cleveland in the beginning of the second round if he even makes it that far.

Your right, Lets hope there is another dominate offensive lineman in the 2nd round.

If they really want him they will have to take him at 25. He may or may not still be there at 37.

It would be great if they did get him at 37, and another good player at 25.

At any rate, the way this draft is shaping up they should surely get two players at 25, and 37 who will contribute right away.

With a lil luck, they could find very useful players with their first 4 picks.

None of those bolded are worth a 1st round pick and can be had in the 2nd round and why would you want McCauley at all? He was benched his senior season and despite his awesome measurables the only good season he had was playing next to Richard Marshall who took all of the pressure off him and is a much better corner despite being less talented.

Chris Houston is likely gone but I guess its possible either him or Revis falls to us in which case we should jump all over them. I agree Blalock or maybe Grubbs would be solid picks as well.
