BoomBoomMancini
I just don't think one player really makes that much of a difference.. For example.. Is Darrell Dockery and Langston Walker over Chris Villareal and Mike Gandy really going to improve the Bills that much?
Smizzy
I think the opportunity to go out and get a player who fits your system for nothing more than money is always a good thing. I think people see a guy hit the free agent market and if they like the player it becomes a huge loss if they sign elsewhere. It's not the end of the world. I expect the jets to grab a couple role players and some depth during FA and make a splash in this yrs draft. Trading up into the top 5.

Making a splash in the draft is something completely different from free agency. The problem i have is that the jets have the money to sign FA's that can really help this team and fill holes to allow them to draft many more BAP's in the draft but the players i see them going after are nothing more then AT BEST league average players who at worst will cost the jets games with their inability to make plays as we found out in the playoff games where some of the JAG FA's they brought in embarrassed themselves. I heard Patriots fans make comments like this. Then they won Super Bowls. Signing high priced free agents is vastly overrated. I could list free agent busts all night long except I have to piss really bad now. Then I'll probably just mosey on up to my bedroom and fall asleep for five hours. Then I'll wake up and face another day.
