Bugg
Edwards made himself available to an out-of-market reporter writing an article the Dolphins to talk baout this in the middle of free agency, the combine and the draft coming in a month. Focus indeed. If Edwards wore himself out in any way it was babbling to any reporter that calls him.
BP
It's not surprising for him to make a complete ass out of himself AGAIN..by admitting he was incompetent without even knowing he just admitted it.
Lil Bit Special
"When you're a head coach, you don't know where to stand," Edwards said. "You're screwed up. You go on the field, no one's talking to you. `Somebody's gonna talk to me.' You don't know what to do. So you go over and talk to the other head coach, and kind of shake his hand, then you go, `Where do I stand?'"
Smizzy
When times are tough for me...I just close my eyes and think to myself..." atleast your not Herman Edwards" and that usually makes me feel better.
#27TheDominator
I'm surprised he didn't hire a special coach to tell him where to stand.

Lil Bit Special
Here we go again, read the entire article. You guys are hysterical the way you bash him over nothing. I read the entire article and he is a idiot... In his years as a coach, he had no clue that he was responsible for this stuff??? That he was overwhelmed with the minor details??? Do other coaches struggle as first year? Yeah... thats what the article was about... but Herm was the only one who sounded like a jackass... And why should I let it go??? He is a part of our team history, should we stop talking about other former players and coaches because they are in the past??? You dont like Herm bashing? Then ignore it. I enjoy reading about Herm, good or bad...

Move on, he's not our coach anymore. So, because you dont like Herm bashing we all should move on??? Sorry, I didnt realize my posts had to be approved by you. I wont move on... if Herm talks about his time here I will comment. Just by the amount of views and posts on this thread shows most people have moved on, but that means I have to??? And if this thread wasnt acceptable it would have been deleted. Simple policy to follow with message boards: Read what you like. Ignore subjects/people who you dont like. Simple, aint it? Ignore any posts by me or ones pertaining to Herm Edwards. Then you will be happy. I ignore lots of threads because they dont interest me. I suggest you do the same. Have a nice day. At some point they need to let it go. I dont' see Al Groh posts and he was a milion time worse than Herm, I don't se Parcells posts and he screwed us by walking away AND cost us Bill Belichick. Move on, he's not our coach anymore. herm is too stupid to say anything tongue in cheek. everything that comes out of his mouth is what he literally thinks. case in point: "we're gonna run up the middle all day tomorrow." a smart coach would say this as a ruse, give the opposition something to think about that doesn't happen. for herm? sure enough, he'll run the ball up the middle all day for a 1.8 ypc and a 40-10 blowout loss and sit there with that famous "frustrated" look on his face wondering why it's not working yet paralyzed and unable to adjust. the man is a returded.
