I was the assistant manager of the EB Games, now Gamestop here in town.

I won't lie, the job really sucks at times. You have to deal with the mean customers, smart mouthed kids, etc. That comes with the territory, but remember any job with the public will be like that.

Personally the worst part of the job for me was having to process all the trades and things that came in from customers. We were not allowed to leave at night until the store was clean, organized, and all the trades were processed and put up.

However there are some perks...you get a 15% merchandise discount, and you will be able to try new game demos and things like that. Plus when the gaming magazines go out of date you can keep those...nothing too special but still its better than nothing.
