jamesAngleton Posted March 6, 2007 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Well I think the Dolphins ran a 4-3 so he was playing RDE in the 4-3. Apparentley Dan Quinn loves this guy when he coached him at Miami. He is a versitile player who will most likely be moved to LB. I have read that if he signs with the Jets they intend to use him as OLB. According to the Jets roster Brian Thomas is almost thesame stature at 6'4 and 266. Dolphins and Jets were similar but Jets' defense base was 3-4 and Dolphins was 4-3. Dolphins used Bowen as OLB for 3-4 scheme which that was why Bowens never registered as a starter in the statistic.
