What the JETS will do next in F.A.

I'm kicking myself for not knowing that they would get thomas jones - I should have. So should everyone else here. You see , there has been alot of posts speculating on what they might do. Alot of people who thought they should JUST build through the draft like last year.... except they didn't only build through the draft last year. They added 2 name free agents - our #1 corner, dyson and vet. d.l. kimo to add some expierience and leadership to the d-line. So I ask you , what do those two guys have in common? The answer is they were both in the superbowl the year before. Now - moving ahead to this year - we finally added a significant player , THOMAS JONES , who was in the last superbowl. Getting the picture? Yes , it appears to be a definate pattern. So , what player at a position that is key to the jets is a f.a. and was on one of this past years superbowl teams? In essence - who might the jets add next? The answer is....

f.a. C.B. NICK HARPER (Ind.) What do you think? Am I right or wrong?

The Jets plan last year was to have all the bases covered when heading into the draft allowing us to take the best players available.Teague was signed before the draft as was Dyson.

We've addressed the d-line and running back problem so far,I reckon we'll re-sign Clements or sign Colombo. We might sign a corner if they are a significant upgrade over Poteat.

Interesting correlation, dude! I'll take Bob Sanders; who's with me?

Also - on that same note - another free agent who also made a superbowl appearence is G REUBEN BROWN , formerly of the bills and most recently with chicago. He is a mamoth offensive lineman and snice that is also an area of intrest for the jets , and the fact that he has some existing chemistry with jones , there is a possibility that the jets could look into acquiring him , although his age is a deterant.

Age is a deterant? Isn't he like 51 yrs. old or something? I think he graduated college with Pete Kendalls mom.
