One player who they could be interested in, should he slip, is Mississippi LB Patrick Willis, a big hitter who can play inside and out. Another name to watch in the middle rounds is Rutgers FB Brian Leonard.

The Associated Press, citing the Boston Herald, is reporting unrestricted free-agent WR Donte' Stallworth (Eagles) visited the New England Patriots Tuesday, March 6, and was offered a six-year, $32 million deal.

Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports WR Wes Welker will probably line up in the slot wide receiver position in 2007. Welker, who was traded to the New England Patriots from the Miami Dolphins Tuesday, March 6, admitted that he is better suited to the inside role generally reserved for third and fourth receivers than outside.
