CoachTsurfing
What are the odds we would have gotten Thomas Jones had Barlow restructured his contract? I still believed we would have went after a rb, because Blaylock was going to get cut regardless and instead of Barlow getting released it would have been houston. The Odds are 100% we would have got T.J. I'm not sure why we would have kept Barlow but if we did we certainly would have still wanted to bring someone in. #27TheDominator
if we kept Barlow the Jets would be wasting cap space I don't think the Jets would have kept Barlow unless his cap number was friendly and there were no roster bonus issues. I wouldn't rule out bringing him back to compete with Houston in camp, but I don't think it's likely.
EM31
Houston was certainly better value for money and flat out better (when healthy) than BarLockLow. We got rid of Barlow for the same reason you flick snot off your fingernail.
Sperm Edwards
There was zero chance of us paying him $3.25M salary for the 2007 season. Barlow wouldn't take a pay cut, so he was released. There is no "if" beyond that.

This guy has the OJ Simpson attitude with the Blair Thomas talent.

This guy has the OJ Simpson attitude with the Blair Thomas talent. We have no idea how much the Jets offered him. I'm sure it wasn't much. He thinks he can get more on the open market. What's wrong with that? He kept his mouth shut here after the Hitler comment. Even though he sucked he basically won one game for us and it's the one all the giddy characters always point to as proof of the Jets greatness. He'll find a job and there's no reason to think it'll be for less than the Jets offered.

green_blood
Barlow would have rushed for over 2,000 yards, 33 Tds and would have gotten MVP and Comeback Player of the Year and would have led the Jets to a Super Bowl victory with his legendary road grading skills and ability to explode through the holes made by converted lineman Jared Lorenzen(acquired by trading the rights to legendary CFL RB Joffrey Reynolds). Yeah, Im a much better talent evaluator than all of the Jet scouts.

green_blood
he did good in one year with san francisco, but its not hard to be an arena league rb. the all time rusher has a total of like 1100 yds in his career. could he play defense, thats another story. now could he play Austrian American Football.http://www.afboe.at/all_teams.php?liga=1.Liga
