Xcel2NuFX
Lately I've been hearing all these rumors of us trading up in the draft but for who?I serioulsy dont see us taking Calvin Johnson or Adrian Peterson..So who will be take if we do move up? I think the only person worth trading up for is Alan Branch. I think he's just what we need to fix up our run defense.
justincredible
I wouldn't be upset if we traded up for any of the following: Calvin Johnson, Alan Branch, or Adam Carriker.
EM31
I would be happy with trading high enough up to get Okoye
will
If they move up in the draft it will be during the draft, if a guy they want slips to a manageable spot. If a guy like Branch slips through to #10-12 then I can see the Jets parlaying the #25 with a vet to nab him. It could happen, too, since Okoye has a emerged as a bit of a phenom and there are some really good DEs that are well regarded (Adams, Jamaal Anderson, even Carriker). LionelRichie
i think the jets are more likely to move down than up.

Jetsfan80
Part of Tangini's philosophy is understanding that no team, and certainly not ours, is 1 or 2 players away from a championship. Therefore, trading down and getting more picks rather than less moves us closer to our goal.
Ghost
I want Branch but I dought it. The Skins I think would get him.
VilmaForPrez
Scouts say Joe Thomas will most likely be a right tackle when he evolves as a pro....i wouldnt mind having that beast boost up our running game...but realisticly id take Calvin Johnson or Okoye
Bravejamriot
I think most of the rumors of trading up died down after the thomas jones trade. I don't see them pulling a bradway and trading 2 good picks to get one guy.
TNJet
I'm leaning towards sitting tight and drafting the best player available at 25.Which could be Meachem,Jarrett,Blalock,or even Carriker if we're lucky.
drago
I'm leaning towards sitting tight and drafting the best player available at 25.Which could be Meachem,Jarrett,Blalock,or even Carriker if we're lucky. If those four are gone, i wouldn't be surprised to slide down. Maybe i'm off here, but this draft doesn't seem as deep at a lot of the positions we need. Blalock is the guy i want most, we would have a killer line for years to come with him.

green_blood
Well, to start off, Amobi Okoye is not a 3-4 NT. Yes, I know he is still very young and raw and could still bulk up more, the Jets' best bet would be to trade down to get talent later on. Understandably, other than Alan Branch, NT talent is pretty devoid in this draft. A DeMarcus Tyler, Marcus Thomas or a later pick like Jay Alford would be more sensible. I love Amobi Okoye because he can actually do more than play DT, he can be a DE too. Now that I changed into tweeners a player like Turk McBride of Tenn could be a 3-4 LB, that the Jets could develop and use. Oh, dammit, sine now I went into other possible players look for the Jets to take a shot at a Dan Bazuin.
