I have a cat but I used to have a dog and I loved her just as much as I love my cat I have now. But, with that being said, I'd much rather have another dog as well as I didn't have to train it to piss and **** outside.

We have a dog. I've always been a dog person.

When this dog's gone though, I'm nixing the whole pet thing altogether. The dog pukes every 3 or 4 days. We can clean it up, but I'm sick of it. And the stupid animal PREFERS to puke on the carpet. When we catch him starting to horf we have to tackle him and drag him to the kitchen (linoleum) and he fights us the entire way. Must be something soothing about horfing on the carpet.

A cat won't do that as much, but the problem with cats is, if they pee just once on something it's ruined.

Just a tip, if your pet pukes a lot (cats can puke a lot too, btw), its useful to keep a roll of paper towels handy. So when they start puking, you don't have to drag them anywhere, you can just grab some of the paper towels and catch the puke with it. Its still disgusting, but it beats cleaning it up off the floor.

Anyway, I like cats too, but Dogs are better, no doubt about it. And they don't scratch the **** out of your walls, arms, etc.
