They just did not belong in a system that expected them to drop into coverage. They big, slow and old. They could hit and tackle and wouldn't be getting run over like some of these midgets. Another example of Herm designing a scheme around his personnel. Take over a team with great cover corners and big slow wood laying LBs, and install the cover 2. Moron. Green DNA
Phew, Donnie Edwards. For a minute there I thought they did something really idiotic and signed Herman Edwards.

Don't forget..he also told Shaun Ellis to get fat and be his Warren Sapp at DT He almost ruined his career after a great rookie season You left that out. And to think, the birth of this board was consumated in part by people being banned for stating that on another website back in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Bugg
Spending $14 million on lottery tickets would be a better investment than to spending $14 million over 3 years on a 34-year old linebacker. But at least they now have a LB to go with their gold-plated crowded elevator of a secondary. Ty Law Patrick Surtain and now Edwards-almost 100 years of pass coverage-teams with speedy receivers are going to eat that defense alive. But that Dick Curl offense will make everything all right. 3rd and 8 draws-yes sir!Coupled with the injury history of backs the year after taking 400+ carries, Larry Johnson's good for a scope by Week 4 and IR by Halloween. He's a WARRIOR though! Deja vu all over again. It's like watching replay video of an accident you lived through for 5 years.

Jetlag
Wait a second, is that a joke, or is Dick Curl actually the Chiefs OC? Not a joke, just the truth. How sad is that? Good thing for Chiefs fans that Dr. Kevorkian gets parolled on June 1. I feel there will be a large migration from Kansas City to Michigan about that time. BTW JM where you been and why did your account get reset?

Boy's official title is Assistant Head Coach for Offense/QB Coach.Teaching Trent Green to handoff to Larry Johnson a whole bunch figures to be a priority. None of that highfaulitn' forward passin' stuff.
