A bit early, but.............

Division Champs: Yankees, Tigers, Angels.

Wildcard: White Sox.

Division Champs: Mets, Cards, Dodgers.

Wildcard: Phils.

Yankees defeat Dodgers in the WS in 6 games.

I will just say this. Your AL East and NL East picks are wrong.

tick, tick, tick part2 coming April 2007.

AL East is in the bag. Bet the farm on it.

Mets should still win, in spite of the Phils improved rotation, especially with Freddy Garcia in his walk year, and looking for Zito money (or a reasonable facsimile). Phils pen is a big ??????. Braves have rotation issues, and not the best lineup, especially without LaRoach. Marlins are getting there, but some of the kids may take a step back. Nats are dead. No pitching, no hitting, limited speed, and no minor leage system to speak of.

So Mets should still win, but not in a cakewalk.

Agree that the NL East will likely not play out easy for the Mets as last season did.

If Braves can get a bounce back year from Tim Hudson and Hampton to go with their rebuilt pen they will be a player in the division race. Their line-up is weaker than the Mets though.

Unless the Phils pen implodes I would make them the clear favorite on paper.

I can't believe how many people are buying into the Phillies hype.

AL: Yankees, Twins, Athletics, Angels

NL: Mets, Cardinals, Dodgers, Cubs

Ryan Howard will hit 50 home runs if he stays healthy and probably have an astronomical on-base percentage thanks to intentional walks

and Cole Hamels is the next coming of Warren Spahn

Not to mention they have the best second baseman in baseball.

imagine how nasty their lineup would be with Abreu still there

Howard

Rollins

Utley

Abreu

Burrel

Burrell is one of the most under-rated players in baseball.

People assume he blows because he hits .250. It's the Adam Dunn Syndrome.

The only players in '06 with more home runs than Burrell in less at-bats (462) were Travis Hafner, Jason Giambi and Manny Ramirez.

and burrell walks alot too to make up for his .258 lifetime average
