Garb
Michael Felger, ESPN Boston and The Boston Herald, reports that Troy Brown wants to play one more year. He presently has no team. Although his preference is to be a Patriot, the recent flurry of wide-out signings by the Pats makes his desire to extend his Pats career an iffy proposition. Rumor has it, that Mangini is ready to scoop the veteran Brown up if the Pats offer he is waiting for does not materialize. I'm 'gonna puke..... Garb
You can call him a hasbeen and laugh? Oh, no you didn't! LOL!! The man is a phenom. You would be lucky to have someone as savvy and versatile as him. Sure, he's aged. His whiley though. And, sure as sh*t, he automatically upgrades your secondary! This possibility disgusts me. Troy Brown is the only jersey I own ....have ever owned, actually. He's the only player I've found worthy. Ugh..... Oh and Boom-dude, if it weren't for Troy, the Pats would not have three sb victories. Of that I am certain.

Not exactly the starting corner we need to bolster the secondary. And if we are just bringing him in to play as a nickel back I say no way because he will probably be overpaid in the twilight of his career. If what we want is a nickel back then I say we bring back Ray Mickens - who got royaly screwed by Herm during the Ty Law deal.
