Lurker
wow, the odds for the top teams are pretty extreme. 2/1 for Florida, 3/1 for NC, and 7/2 for Kansas? I'm looking at odds from a different site, and it's like this: UNC: 9/2 Kansas: 4/1 UCLA: 7/1 Ohio State: 11/2 Oregon: 25/1 etc.

You will never get 9-2 on a #1 seed with just 16 teams left. I would love to get UNC at 9-2 right now.
Lurker
you can get them at 11-2 here: http://linesmaker.com/live_odds/ncaa_basketball_champion.htm 5-1 at maddux sports Butler35/1 Florida5/2 Georgetown9/2 Kansas4/1 Memphis9/1 North Carolina5/1 Ohio State8/1 Oregon20/1 Pittsburgh20/1 Southern Illinois25/1 Tennessee30/1 Texas A&M9/1 UCLA8/1 UNLV33/1 USC35/1 Vanderbilt35/1 for the #1 seeds, the odds probably don't change a ton from the beginning to the Sweet 16. They almost never lose in the first two rounds anyway. The odds really change on the underdogs who make it to the Sweet 16. Otherwise? Not so much. The odds can change dramatically after the 1st two rounds. In fact, they sometimes drop by 50%. Those sites you linked are definitely still on pre-tournament. Take a look at this site. This is linked up with the sportsbooks in vegas. You can see the opeing odds and the current odds. http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-basketball/odds/futures/ If you scroll to the bottom, you can see that in Kansas' case, the odds went down 50%. They opened at 8-1 now they are at 4-1. If they didn't change, you would have to be crazy to bet anything before the sweet 16. Why bother when you can wait and see if you're team gets upset before betting them.
Lurker
I didn't say they didn't change. What I said is they don't change a lot for the favorites because the favorites are expected to make it to the Sweet 16 anyway. A team like Butler or UNLV would see its odds change dramatically after making it to the Sweet 16. Florida? Not so much.
