Bren, if that was a great fight, then that must have been the first fight you have ever seen. Ruiz is a disgrace and Toney wouldn't even think of fighting in the heavyweight division if there was so much as one repsectable true heavyweight in the division.

Silva will probably win it again.

Probably but there are some guys that could give him a run for his money.

Ricardo Arona

Igor Vovchanchyn

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

Mauricio Rua

Any of these guys will be a very tough draw for Silva. I would be shocked if they don't put Silva in the ring with Sakurabu for the 4th. time in the second round though.

That fight was unbelievable. Toe to toe action for 10 rounds, both guys were marked up pretty good. Corrales showed a lot of guts but Castillo has a legitimate beef with the way Corrales stalled for time by spitting out the mouthpiece after the second knockdown. Regardless, don't miss this if it is replayed again, there is a lot of leather. The last round was like a Rocky movie.

Well, the ref was actually very quick to take a point away after he took out his mouthpiece, thats what a ref is supposed to do , and he did it. I've seen fights where it takes 3-4 times before a ref will take a point away for that.

True, and that was the right move. I thought the ref was excellent, he let them fight. I think that the extra time that Corrales gained by sptting out the mouthpiece allowed him to clear the cobwebs a little and get his legs back underneath him. Goossen (the cornerman) also did the right thing by taking his sweet ass time in coming up with the mouthpiece. If that didn't happen I think Castillo would have moved in for the kill. Either way, great fight and I can't wait to see the inevitable rematch.

I was suprised to see castillo go low so many times without the ref warning him or taking points. This was the 2nd best fight ive ever seen behind Ward -Gatti 1 & Par with Haggler/Leonard. These 2 guys fought toe to toe in the middle of the ring the entire fight and both of them took a beat'n. The end was just the icing on the cake.

ANyone getting the Trinidad fight tonight? I'm pulling for Tito, I say he wins by KO in the 9th.

Tito's a chump. Who says so?

The champ says so. He'll crawl back into retirement after a guy named Winky puts him on the mat.

I never saw the whole Tito hype, in fact he's the reason I won't watch boxing. He and Sweet Pea and Don Hairdo stole my $$ last time I went out to see a fight. As Jorma says, that'll never happen no more. This sport won't see another dime from me.
