madmike1
The Yankees' will be surprised to find that Doug Mientkiewicz's all-world defensive reputation is overdone, according to one National League scout. "He had the yips in 2005 with the Mets. He couldn't turn the 3-6-3 double play, and he wouldn't ever throw home," the scout said. GREAT signing. Barton
He had the yips. LOL. He was going thru a divorce at the time I believe or some other personnal problems so it likely affected his play. He was fine in 2006 btw. He's not a guarantee to be on the team for the whole year, mike. If he struggles he wont play, its very simple because he's not getting paid enuff money for them to be forced to play him. Its not like that.
