My GeForce card isnt being recognized

I did a system restore on my cpu and everything worked except for my graphix card. When I try to install the drivers from the disk, it says that I dont have the right one installed. Thats odd cause this is the disk that has always worked and actually came with the dam thing. Anyway, I'm trying to get windows to recognize it in the control panel, but that isnt working either. Does anyone know why my video card is doing this? Or how to get it to be recognized?

U should go to the website and find the latest driver files for that model video card and install the latest drivers. You shouldnt install the the default ones cause their old and what happens is you when you download later versions later on, the old ones are still there. So your taking up more space by keeping both versions drivers on your hardrive. You should delete whatever previous ones and install only the latest ones.
