SoFlaJets
NFL | League will revise injury reports Sat, 24 Mar 2007 09:14:56 -0700 Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports the NFL is planning to improve its weekly injury reports after several teams questioned the existing method and protocol. Atlanta Falcons general manager Rich McKay said the new system will require teams to reveal each injured player's practice schedule. If commissioner Roger Goodell approves the new format, the old classifications of probable, questionable and doubtful will be de-emphasized. Under the new system, teams will list the amount of practice in which injured players participate on Wednesday and Thursday of a game week. On Friday, the teams will designate each players as probable, questionable, doubtful or out.
SeniorFlaJet
If that becomes the law next week can you just see Belli staying up all night figuring ways to find a loophole for that one.

MikeJetsWord
I don't really see a need for this. Every offseason the commitee ****s with the sport in so many ways, it getting ridiculous. Like with new penalties every year, no dancing, no spiking the ball, there taking all of the fun out of the game. Just leave the damn game alone. Watching some moron spike the ball after a 9 yard catch and hold up the game is not taking the fun out of the game... they still let you spike the ball when you score, which is the only time you really should feel the urge... its the old saying "act like you have done it before" The NFL does a great job trying to fix their mistakes and fix flaws in the game while adapting to changes that come with time, this is why it is more popular now than ever. Arsis
It's not acting when it all has been done before. Unless you make a game changing play while in the playoffs/superbowl or a game that determines if you get into the playoffs or not. I like football.. I like to watch football, I don't want to watch these overpaid morons dancing or celebrating after every tackle/catch. It gets old really really really really fast. 4HCrew
When Santana used to spin the ball it used to piss me off because it was unnecessary. I am all for touchdown celebrations or for a spike after a big play on 3rd down or something but some teams aka the Giants do it to excess

Oh, I thought they got rid of it completely. But still its besides the point. Why not any harmless celebrations like Chad Johnson. Hes doing it for fun, because that is what the game is about right? Theres still not enough wrong with the leauge that, makes it require changes every year. With all the penaties revolving around pass interference, the 5 yard cushion rule, and saving Tom Brady's pansy ass with ridiculous roughing the passer calls, I just get so frustrated with it. Ask any QB from two decades ago and ask then what they think of the little BS calls these days. They would have none of that. You can bank on that. People ask why there's no such thing as a smack-you-in-the-mouth running offense anymore, and thats because all of the rules favor a more finesse style offense. The rules benefit the offense ridiculously now.
