I have to fix my ps2 about once a year, it's pretty easy, first take the lid off the ps2.. then you'll see a plastic cover over where the disk goes.. take the screws out of it and take the lid off. now depending on what medel ps2 u ahve u will have 1, 2 , or 3 little white gears the size of a dime. they have little teeth on the outside. these gears adjust the hight and angle of the ps2 laser. if u only have one gear it's pretty simple. if u have more than 1 it will take a little more time.. just move the gear/gears 1 notch at a time, but the cover back over the cd trey with a game disk in it and turn on the ps2. when ur get close to the right angle it will start seeing the disk but not play it, then after a few more notches it will play like new.

the gears are easy to move and I'm guessing they just get moved when we put a disk in the ps2, just gets off set.

yeah I'm wondering the same thing. they can all be opened, take the little plastic/rubber feet out of the bottom of the ps2 and there will be screws under there to take it apart.

:rl:

I didnt want to give it away... you ruined all of my fun!

Now Timbok is running full speed to his PS2 to go pull the little feet off... and he is thinking WOW I never thought these could come off... EVER!! :)
