harris5214
if i were to go to the local community college for my first year of college and were to do very well and had a high GPA, would i be able to transfer to a major university, or would i still be stuck with my highschool GPA which is horrible right now. another question is do i have to send in my SAT scores also when i go to transfer? What your saying is you tanked at the end of HS, and you want to make it up by having a good turnaround in your first year of college, right? Its possible but you will most likely need 2 years at the smaller school at least...

ECURB
correct, ive had people tell me it can be done in the first year. I guess it could, usually they want to make sure it wasnt a fluke that you tried hard for 1 year... but hey work your ass off and anything is possible!
