Too bad it didn't come out the year Crash won, that was a freakin joke.

I liked it a wee bit better than pursuit but both good,, departed best .. http://www.jetnation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30069&page=11&highlight=movie
joewilly
yes departed was the best flick i've seen in a long time. I found pursuit of happiness a bit flat myself.
drago
yes departed was the best flick i've seen in a long time. I found pursuit of happiness a bit flat myself. I have heard the strangest reviews (in my eyes obviously) about persuit. My roommie is sort of a movie buff, and said he found it a little tacky, or too cheesey. Then i hear someone else say they didn't like it cause it was a total downer. Either way, i really like will smith's character, i thought he did a great job. I hope he can keep building off these movies (ali, persuit, MIB...), cause smith could end up being a great actor.
joewilly
I think cheesey & tacky were a better description than flat or brilliant. it was ok & good rah rah story line for the poor mans plight but the flick bored the crap outta me. I wanna be entertained or riveted & this flick did neither for me. don't get me wrong it was ok but I want more than ok for my time spent on the couch. I will tell you the problem with Pursuit,,, It went way overboard with his CONSTANT obstacles,,I got it at the 3rd crappy thing that happeneded to him that he had a Black Cloud over his head,, enough already,,

That's my two cents anyway.

I think they went for the heart strings more than they needed to at the expence of a great part of this dudes story..
