Loduca hitting second is the right move- do not mess with success at the top of the lineup. Glavine gave what you hopefully can expect- 6 innings to give you a chance to win. He can lose it very suddenly though so Willie will have to have quick hook.

I agree...I have no doubt Wright would be a good 2nd place hitter. my concern would be the lineup from 6-9. Green, Loduca, Valentin & pitchers spot isn't so pretty. Loduca is a perfect 2 hitter in this lineup. He rarely strikes out and patiently waits for Reyes to swipe 2nd before he tries to find the hole on the right side. Hopefully Willie sees it this way and leaves Loduca in the 2 hole.

well, at least the offense hasn't missed a beat, except for jose reyes. but, valentin showed that he still is a good defensive player.
