914-ny
The New York Jets announced Monday they have signed defensive end David Bowens and waived wide receiver Phil Silva. The announcement was made by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Bowens (6'3", 265) originally entered the league as a 1999 fifth-round draft selection (158th overall) of the Denver Broncos out of Western Illinois. After a season each with Denver and Green Bay and a brief stint with Washington, Bowens spent six seasons as a member of the Miami Dolphins. In 105 career games, Bowens registered 157 tackles and 26 sacks. Silva originally signed with the Jets on June 9, 2006, as a rookie free agent before being cut on July 31. He recorded 22 touchdown receptions in four seasons at Division III Rowan University in New Jersey. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show_permalink/bowens-signed-silva-waived

SeniorFlaJet
Not sure... I grabbed it from the NFL EU website... I just checked it also. They haven't updated it yet. Those were last years allocations. In fact none of those players are even on the Jet roster now. Kliff Kingsbury was my first hint. LOL They probably haven't allocated anyone yet. I don't think European football is big on updating websites. I hope they are all allocated, regular season games start in a week or two. Matt McChesney, Blake Costanzo, Zarnell Fitch, Jamie Thompson and (former Jet) Phil Silva are over here. Costanzo and Fitch seemed somewhat interesting. Thompson was a decent camp player and actually got in a few games last year.

R44
Faba, here are some more recognizable names to the average college football/Jets fans: Baltimore: Drew Olson QB UCLA Houston Texans Harry Williams WR Tuskegee (drafted by the Jets) San Diego Chargers Tony Pape T Michigan Seattle Seahawks Travis Lulay QB Montana State Kansas City Chiefs Omar Jacobs QB Bowling Green (was cut today/injury) Cincinnati Bengals Jason Berryman LB Iowa State St. Louis Rams Josh Lay CB Pittsburgh Arizona Cardinals Greg Lee WR Pittsburgh Denver Broncos Greg Eslinger C Minnesota Oakland Raiders Dave Tollefson DE Northwest Missouri Kansas City Chiefs Nick Reid LB Kansas Miami Dolphins Shirdonya Mitchell CB Missouri Carolina Panthers Steve Sciullo G Marshall Chicago Bears Gerald Riggs RB Tennessee Detroit Lions Matthew Rice DE Penn State Minnesota Vikings Andre Maddox S North Carolina State (former Jet) Atlanta Falcons Taurean Henderson RB Texas Tech Miami Dolphins Steve Fifita DT Utah New York Giants Charles Davis TE Purdue (there was a lot of draft hype on him because he played Big 10 hoops, but he's a bit slow) San Diego Chargers T.J. Gerald Riggs has the bloodlines-with Jones gone he might get a playing opportunity with the Bears. If bloodlines meant anything would we have been looking at Rohan Marley and Jesse Jackson's son at major college football programs? At Justin Fargas in the NFL?
