I hear ya buddy.... blue sky's and only about a 20 mph wind here in the Chi-town. And the temp is....eh....25...26 something like that. Just had to put my frikin parka on to take the puppy for a walk. This bites. At least it's not snowing...yet anyway.

sunny, blue skies, and temps in the mid to upper 70's low humidity and a nice breeze-no A/C today baby-just thought I'd rub it in to you guys up north..

Yeah enjoy your 2 weeks of weather related pleasure.

Because in another month when it's 105 degrees with 89% humidity, a dew point of 78 degrees, no wind and the inside of your car can bake a pizza......for weeks at a time, we'll be the ones laughing at you.

Hey old timer, you live in Chicago?

I was in Chicago a couple of years ago and went to this great Greek restaraunt called ''Greek Islands''. it's still one of my favorite places to eat ANYWHERE.

Have you ever eaten there before? if not I highly recommend it.

61 degrees here, not a cloud in the sky. Summer's nearly here!

It's 61 degrees and there is not a cloud in the sky in Der Fuhrerbunker?

Is it a painted ceiling like the casino Paris has?

I do m'man and you have hit on one of our premier ethnic/party/dining establishments.

I have spent much time in the Halsted St./Greektown area. Hopefully you sh!tfaced yourself on the fine rotgut Rodits wine that flows like water down there. In a former life I've had various halucinatory experiences from imbibing in same.

Good times man!

I ate dinner there on New years eve 2002..from the flaming cheeze with the shout of OOFAH! to the lamb and wine..I really frickin miss that place!

If I'm ever back in Chic we will have to hook up for dinner over there.

As the snow flies

On a cold and gray chicago mornin

A poor little baby child is born

In the ghetto

And his mama cries

cause if theres one thing that she dont need

Its another hungry mouth to feed

In the ghetto

People, dont you understand

The child needs a helping hand

Or hell grow to be an angry young man some day

Take a look at you and me,

Are we too blind to see,

Do we simply turn our heads

And look the other way

Well the world turns

And a hungry little boy with a runny nose

Plays in the street as the cold wind blows

In the ghetto

And his hunger burns

So he starts to roam the streets at night

And he learns how to steal

And he learns how to fight

In the ghetto

Then one night in desperation

A young man breaks away

He buys a gun, steals a car,

Tries to run, but he dont get far

And his mama cries

As a crowd gathers round an angry young man

Face down on the street with a gun in his hand

In the ghetto

As her young man dies,

On a cold and gray chicago mornin,

Another little baby child is born

In the ghetto

My parents lived in Boca Raton for 9 years, FL isn't all it's cracked up to be. I have the same phases here in MI. Nights where the temps are in the low 70s, slight breeze, not a cloud in the sky. You just don't want to go inside.

Same thing with early fall. Temps in high 50s, crisp wind. Every area has its advantages, like Florida in mid Januarty when I'm freezing. But all in all, Florida is way too hot for my skin.

i gotta say michigan autumns are freaking unbelieveable and last forever. my first year there the first snow i saw was back in NC for december break. southern michigan isn't as bad as people think.

Day like this? it was good to get out, after all, the Soviets weren't shelling the place. However those bloody Lithuanians were running round with their knives again. Scary people those lot.

Having said that, the bunker's septic tank has blocked up, so much fun in the dark the past hour and a half. Sh*t.

someone remember to bump this thread right before the next hurricane makes landfall there in a few weeks, lol.

You don't even need for it to hit landfall.

A week before it's even near Florida, all they have to say is it may hit anywhere from the Keys to Tallahassee and you'll hear DK screaming "It's gonna get me! It's gonna get me! Save my gay dog ! Save my boat!"
