I'm not watching the game, but MLB.com had Petitte pitching in relief?

I see Joe has finished ruining the bullpen and is now killing the starters.

Yeah,I was a bit shocked when I saw him coming into relief today, but he didn't pitch that much the other day.

Rasner is atrocious .. he's not a big league pitcher .. everytime he gets called up he gets killed

Soon as Wang is ready, send this dude back to the minors where he belongs

Ham,his fastball was topping out at 87MPH today

I thought I heard he threw in the mid 90's?

Yankee fans think Wang is the savior, but his BB to K ratio is awful, and he gives up waaaayyy too much contact.

This is really going to catch up to him this year.

Was that a serious post or were you doing a MadMike imitation? When a pitcher has one of the best sinkers in MLB you want contact. Wang had more ground ball outs than any pitcher in MLB last year if I'm not mistaken. That also leads to plenty of double plays. He will be just fine.

Ask Mike how 'lucky' Wang was last year.

As long he continues his over 3 G/F ratio he'll be fine. It's not his bbk that matters it's his bb9. He can't walk people and he can't give up homers. He's never going to be a huge strikeout pitcher but if he gives up singles (like he did last year) he'll be able to repeat.
