SoFlaJets
Crowded house April 10 The Jets apparently will have two restricted free agents roaming the halls at Hofstra today as the team will reportedly also host Bengals offensive tackle Stacy Andrews. Patriots cornerback Randall Gay is also in town. Both have one-year, $1.3 million tenders on them, meaning either the Patriots or Bengals would be owed a second-round pick if they choose not to match any offer sheet the players sign. Like Gay, giving up a second-round pick for Andrews might be considered a reach. But, like Gay, there are some intriguing possibilities with the 6-foot-7, 342-pound Andrews. The 25-year-old Andrews has started just 3 of 31 games over three seasons with the Bengals. Then again, you
Maxman
Seems like a lot to pay for Andrews or Gay. But if that pick is burning a whole in their pocket I would take the upside of the lineman. Still seems weird that they would give up a 2nd rounder for someone who has played so little. Although if they sign Andrews we will all annoint him a Hall Of Famer based on his size alone.
