Man, I must be getting soft.

All of Max and Smizzy's 'tough love sessions with leather accoutrement' must be having a effect.

Yeah I let it go even though I had the mind to close it- not that is not important to discuss just this is not the right place.

ya,we just got over a cold snap,, i actually had to bring in the flowers and ferns for 2 nights,,

back to the 70s/80s now though,, thank God.

I love this time of year. Lent just serves as a spring board for me. It is so easy to get distracted. Yet when you know Palm Sunday and Easter are right around the corner I find it easier to get in touch with my spirtuality. I owe everthing I have to Jesus. He died to give me (and all of us eternal life). Wow. I lose focus at times. The spring really does bring me and my family back home.

This war in Iraq is such a tough situation. What I am so happy about though is that everyone is supporting our troops. It is about time. We should never have soldiers that return here and receive no love from us. What happened to the Vietnam Vets was just not right. You can disagree with certain things but just don't take it out on the wrong people. We hope you get home safe and soon.

North Korea and Iran. Tough call there. You can't handle that in a strong armed manner. We are spread pretty thin. I just hope and pray that diplomatic measures actually do work in this case.

Wow they fired Imus. Man. Personally I am glad and it has nothing to do with that situation. I always wanted to listen to WFAN in the morning (FOR SPORTS) and he was just in the way. He won't be missed. His ratings were terrible. What he said was stupid. A lot of what he says is very offensive. I guarantee that if he were a bigger money maker (i.e. better ratings) that he would not have been fired.

This Pat Tillman stuff will be worth watching. In many ways it looks like the classic old vs new. In the old days, coverups were easy. The Army said this is what happened and that was pretty much the end of the story. In this new day, the electronic age, they have lost that cover up control. So let this be a reminder to them, the truth is the best option. (Or at least a version of the story that resembles the truth).

Flat tax? I wonder if it would work? It seems fair. And it would cut out the red tape. I know we will never see it personally, it had its best shot under Forbes about 10 years ago. It isn't a hot topic today but man there really does have to be a better way.

Glad this Anna Nicole stuff is over. Right. Like it will ever be over. Man that poor little girl will forever be on TV. Larry Birkhead seems like the best option as far as Dad's go. Wasn't really a prime group. Although you do have to admit that if O.J. were the Dad, that would make for some good TV. I think we would have a reality show that would beat out American Idol.

To our men and women in Afghanastan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. You are not forgotten. We hope the government gives you the support you need to get home safely as well. To all of our troops past and present, thank you.
