Kidhuman
Thanks for allowing Boston to sweep your team. How many pitchers do you have in your bullpen? How many do you say you trust in everyday situations? Well your dumb assed theory hasn't worked. Why the hell would you use Proctor 3 straight days when he was giving up hits and runs all three days? Try someone else for a damned change. You have more then Him and Rivera out there. If you aren't going to use the rest of the Bullpen then get rid of them and bring up some other players to get there chance in the majors. You suck as a manager. The Lineup basically plays itself and you have proven that you can not manage a bullpen for s*it. With your stupid moves you deserved to get swept this weekend. I really honestly and truly hope this coming weekend you decide to use a different pitcher in the Bronx in a close game. Kidhuman.
JetsMan57
Dear Guiseppe, how many times will you sit back and watch your big stars get hit upstairs before you finally come out of your comatose and retaliate? Just asking. Sincerely,

Cmart28Coles87
Agreed. I wanted Joe gone last year. I remember last year he blew game 2 against detroit and Misuses Mariano a lot. Lucky for him Mariano's great enough to bail his dumbass out.
kloogy
As great as Joe has been to this team, someone needs to wake this pitching staff up. Joe is a great manager, and those of you that disagree can eat a kawk. The Yankees wouldn't have had the same success since 96 that they have enjoyed. Everyone makes mistakes. I do think it may be time for him to move on.

Bugg
As per Elias, Torre so far this season has made almost 80 pitching changes to this point in the season-which is to this point in any season the msot of any team in MLB history.Tonight again with 80-odd pitches, what's the rush to get Wang out to bring in some ragged arm reliever? He falls in love with some pitchers, and wears tham out, or falls out fo love with them and buries relievers. Proctor's arm is about to fall off. Now, Torre may have only had a small say in how this team was put together, but his misuse of relievers is criminal. His failure to allow his starters(or any pitcher) to work out of trouble has made them all jittery and lack confidence. 12 years in any job is just too damn long. It's time to go. If they don't make a change, and soon, this season is over.

Jet/BosoxFan
who are you going to be replacing him with? Piniella would have worked, but he is in the First Circle of Baseball Hell, managing the Chicago Cubs. Ive heard Joe freakin' Girardi's name tossed around. I've heard Don Mattingly as well...Torre is better than either of those 2. He is the only thing standing between Captain Overrated abdicating the SS throne and finding a new position! The Bronx Zoo coming back? Or is it already here?
Kidhuman
would anybody else be suprised if torre is fired at somepoint during the season? the sooner the better. Completely agree. I wish he would have been fired in the off season. Pinella would have been lovely for the job.
mbn007
Great job by torre lifting Wang after 81 pitches and going to the horrible Vizcaino and worthless myers.. Was Wang on a pitch count, like an 81 pitch pitch-count? Not unusual for a guy in his first start back after a DL stay.
