Well being that my father is a huge Jets fan and has been a season ticket holder for the past 30 years, with that he has only missed 4 games in that time frame, he started taking me to games when I was 7 it is kind of obvious as to why I am a Jets fan. I love being a Jets fan and now I plan to keep tradition alive being this is my 5th year that I own my own ticket with my father and haven't missed a game yet.

If I tell you, you guys will think I'm the biggest homo ever. I will tell you anyways. lol. I'm 35 and grew up in Goshen n.y. When I was about 6 I saw the movie west side story and thought the Jets were the coolest gang. I was watching football with my father a few weeks later and the Jets were playing and new right there in then, that was going to be my team. I loved their helmets, the colors, and no one else in the neiberhood really liked them. I've been a fan ever since. P.S. I'm not a homo, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I honestly can't remember why (I was a Jets fan before Joe Namath) but if I could find the person responsible I would beat the living daylights out of them. :box:

I remember the Titans, the first game at Shea, and the horrible losses up until the Super Bowl on Jan. 12, 1969. The Gastineau roughing, the entire decade of the 70's, the Mud Bowl, the fake spike, the Thomas fumble afterwards. Rich Kotite, Herman Edwards, Lou Holtz, Pete Carroll, Bruce Coslet, Charley Winner. It's a miracle any of us old-timers remain Jet fans.

I was just a very casual Giant fan when the Titans came into existence and we

traveled from South Brooklyn up to the Polo Grounds to watch them. I should have

known then to get out. Thought when then won the SB that things would change

but again i was wrong. Yeah its hard to believe we are still Jet fans.

Nobody knows the troubles we've seen. LOL

I needed a challenge for the heart medication they gave me to keep me alive and the knicks stopped doing the job all by themselves...

Seriously thouogh i was born a Steeler fan (Fathers Family) but when i moved in with my grandparents my grandfather and i watched every Jets and Giants game evey sunday together that was our time, i used to like both but dropped the Giants when they dismantled the best linebacking core to every play in the league
