Arsis
He will if he gets to play against Rex Grossman in the SB He'd have to beat Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in the playoffs to even get to the Rex Grossman game, so that's out of the question. He wont have to. Brady will beat himself now that he's a baby-daddy and his mothering instinct will kick in and he wont be himself anymore. Peyton will still choke in plenty of big games... one SB does not mean he will never choke again. Plus Mangini will outcoach Tony "God Hates Gays" Dungy Chad and the Jets can win a Super Bowl. Will they?

Lil Bit Special
I really hope you're right, I really really do. But I think the road to the super bowl goes through NE and INDY We will make the Superbowl sometime in the next 3 years so Woody and the NFL can anally r*pe us for more money for tickets to "the big game" The NFL realizes it has to have the officials make favorable calls so we can win and make the "big game" so we will stop bitching how much the PSL's (or Charter Ownership Agreements--cincy) for our new stadium will be. But I think the road to the super bowl goes through NE and INDY Dont forget about the Chargers. Just like the Colts the Chargers been knocking at the door some the past couple seasons with Brees/Rivers, L.T, Gates and now on the defensive side of the ball... Shawn Lighs Out. Only a matter of time for the Chargers. But as a team... I like the Jets this season. Without injury to key players, watch out

They are running-backs, Recievers, O-Line, Cornerback, LB, DT, the Coach and the Best of all time. CHAD PENNINGTON HAS NO SHOT. Poor, poor Chad. He has never had any talent around him. Only a HOF running back, a couple Pro Bowl receivers (that had to LEAVE Chad before they made the Pro Bowl, lol), and an offensive line with multiple all-pros on it. Just wait until we trade for LaDainian Tomlinson, Torry Holt, Steve Smith, Walter Jones, Steve Hutchinson, and Orlando Pace. Then Chad will show the haters! Now we have a coach in Mangini who learned the game of football from BB and BP's. Just look in the eyes of BB when talking about Mangini or before and after games. He knows this coach is 4real, and we will have him for a long time. This is the year where Chad shows what he is about. He has a soon to be Franchise LT in Ferguson and a ALL-Pro type center already in Mangold. A work-horse in Thomas Jones who on the offensive side of the ball last season was the leader for that Bears team who went to the superbowl. Because we all know it wasnt Rex or the Recievers. Coles we all know about but Cotch is going to get better with another season working with Chad. Leon Washington who is going to be a real nice fit behind Jones. And a OC in Martys boy who will be calling the plays. Lets see what he can do.

Chad was perfectly equipped to run Herm's no-risk, draw play on 3rd and long, go deep once every two weeks, pussified "offense". Notice how career third-stringer and fellow ladyarm Damon Huard came in after throwing a total of 1 pass since 2000 and ran the offense to perfection. QBs like Vinny and Trent Green don't work with Herm because he forces them to play in an 8-yard box. QBs like Chad and Huard thrive with Herm because they struggle when going out of that box. We saw Chad's true colors last year when forced to run a REAL offense and his color was mediocre. Or **** brown, depending on which box of crayons you're using. AVM
They are QB's who win games in the playoffs on teams that have better running-backs, recievers, o-lines, cb's, lb's, dt. Addai has no #2 man, and Maroney(while in my opinion the most talented RB in the division) wont last the entire season with that shoulder, although all Pats fans will say he'll be fine. He'll truck on, through the early parts of the season, but one strong hit and that shoulders done. The Patriots upgraded their recievers, and the Colts have always had great WR's, but the Jets go into the season with a rather under-rated recieving core. As Troll eluded to earlier, Coles is a pro-bowl wideout...and Cotchery looked great last year. Even McCariens has been sounding good in training camp. Add in the flashy Brad Smith, and maybe even the rookie Stuckley, and thats not a half bad group of recievers. The o-line is another year improved, and while the team could always use one more solid starter, if Kendall ends up staying with the team, you can only expect a line that started rookies at the two most important o-line positions to get better. Finally, add a couple of impact rookies at LB and CB, plus a consistent punt returner, and the team as a whole is not that bad at all. The Colts, Bolts, and Pats are the 3 teams who will "definately" go to the Super Bowl, so the pressure is all on them to win. The Jets aren't expected to win, even after a playoff experience, and as the past couple of years have shown, the Jets have their best years when nothing is expected of them. In the end, Chad Pennington does have enough to take the next step this year, although he will be running into a dangerously talented Patriots team. The good thing is, anything can happen in these "rivalry" games. The thing is, you have people like 124, or Barton, or Smizzy, who hate Chad Pennington with a passion, and at the same time say the Patriots are an unstoppable force. According to 124, the Pats are going to win another ring next year, and no one can stop them. The funny thing is, if Chad was to get to a 2nd round, or even championship game against them, and lose, he, and "Chad haters" like him, would say its all Chads fault the Jets didnt win, if they lost. But hey, to each his own. Go Jets, go Chad, go Kellen, and every other player on our roster.
