Green Jets & Ham
Good series. Close games. But they were sloppy. ARod's error today was DISGUSTING. Funny thing is, all the Met hacks in the media are already painting it as the Mets GAVE THIS GAME AWAY because they made errors in the 8th inning which led to 3 Runs But they conveniently ignore that the Mets score ONE RUN in 9 innings of baseball if not for Arod's ABSOLUTE GIFT as well Same Goes with friday nite ... Jeter opens the door for the Mets to score a couple of runs {with two errors in one inning}, but the media hacks try to paint it as the Mets GIVING THE GAME AWAY because they made a few errors as well Bottom Line: Defense is BIG part of the Game ... you have to make the plays in the field if you wanna win ... both teams had their defensive lapses which led to runs for the opposition ... BOTH TEAMS ... but in the end the BETTER TEAM won the series 8) PS. Both teams made EXACTLY 4 ERRORS in this series .. on the nose ... so save the excuses, Met fans

Maxman
Ham: AROD's error was unreal. A slow and easy 2 hopper hit by the pitcher. Field it and throw. That is all that was required. Total choke job.

Finally coming out of the woodwork now that the Yanks have jumped to 3rd place? Good work, you make your fellow Yankee fans proud. By the way, barely winning a series thanks to Roberto Hernandez is nothing to be proud of. Sure, the Yankees were supposed to win 2 out of 3, and got it done. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the Mets OWNED your ace Randy Johnson, and your Yankees couldn't hit a lick off of Pedro Martinez. Good luck making the playoffs; you won't get the good fortune of facing the Roberto Hernandez's of the world come October.

It's way too easy Yeah, Randy Johnson had a real easy time when the Mets banged 12 hits against him, 2nd most he's ever allowed in a start in his career. Maxman
Sore loser? I predicted the Yanks would take 2 out of 3! This is getting stupid. Yankee fans are happy that there team won 2 out of 3. And you are telling them not to. Silly if you ask me. Just like a bloop hit looks like a line drive in a box score. The Yankees made mistakes but won the series. They will fix what is wrong and move forward.
