faba
The Guiness World Record is still in sight for thread hijackings on a web -site Tabor Jet My own opinion is that in the off season it is hard to come up with alot of pure football topics and articles. I do my best to try to hunt some relevant articles down That is what IMO makes this site good is that there are other varied topics on sports and other things in life. Good posters here- knowledgable and well rounded in many areas and topics. Moderator job here is easy

Maxman
I knew it all along. Reach 100 days and this site goes down the crapper all of a sudden. And what's with the no nudity rule? If the Jets don't want to link up, to hell with them, link up with some porn sites instead. The Jets were going to link us. Then they read some of TomShane's editorials. Then they stopped taking our phone calls. Funny how sensitive they can be to some fair criticism.
TomShane
On the contrary, people sharing baby photos here is a good thing. Yet another reason why this site will last.. Ha! Shows what YOU know! This site will last because the Admins have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives! Ha! As for the first 100 days, my honest assessment: Positives: ~The quality of posters has been incredible. As Pat said, we have had to do almost nothing to keep crazy stuff off the board, even though it's kind of our policy to "do nothing to control content" on this site. But, even in light of that, is we've deleted more than 50 posts total in our first 100 days, I'd be surprised. And most of those were from Max deleting MY posts. ~Our baseball forum is alot of fun. As you may know, I'm baseball-stupid, so every time I read the baseball forum I learn something new. Good stuff. ~Back to the posters, I love that we have such a diversity of personalities co-existing on the board. You know who you are. Negatives: ~Even though we have about 150 more posters than I thought we would when we first decided to build this board, the volume is still a little slow. We made the decision to not indiscriminately pursue new traffic in order to avoid the 300 extra sh*tty posters we could have, but I'd still like to get about 50-100 more to keep the conversations moving, ideally. But, like I said, we won't just go willy-nilly to nab just anyone, and I know that as the season approaches we'll get up to an average of 50 people signed on at any time. That's kind of the goal, I suppose.

TomShane
A few years ago my brother and I were talking about how Tommy Lee is the luckiest dude in the world: multimillionaire drummer, huge penis, married to Pam Anderson. My friend goes, "I wouldn't want to be married to Pam Anderson" and we go "say what?!" and he goes, "Dudes, chicks are great, but eventually you're going to have to talk to them." I am assured they are looking into it and it is a high priority for them. Should I email them more often?
Big Ben
Take Joe Down? Damn. That is hurtful. Joe is the man. As far as the jihad it is not needed. Working on some partnerships so we should have a few things in place pretty soon! Honestly most of the Jet sites owners have been real cool to us. Real cool. No sneak attacks needed. I've got to agree on the Broadway Joe thing. The guy had 2 seasons in his entire career with more TD's than INT's. He was a good (not great) QB. Chad will finish his career with better numbers than Joe...and if you bastards are lucky he'll got a Lombardi Trophy along they way.
PatsFanTX
Chad will finish his career with better numbers than Joe...and if you bastards are lucky he'll got a Lombardi Trophy along they way. Please. Comparing Namath to PennyBoyWonder is like comparing a Yugo to a Masarati. So what if Namath had more INT's than TD's? It was a totally different game in his era. Namath consistently threw the ball downfield (20+ yards) virtually 75% of the game. No QB in the history of the NFL threw a tighter, more perfect spiral than Namath. All PennyBoy does is the cutesey little "dump and dink" throws to pad his stats. PennyBoy winning a Lombardi? No chance whatsoever.

faba
Namath played in a totally different era as PatsfanTx mentioned. Throwing the ball down the field was the game. Namath knees wrecked his career and still he put up great passing numbers- we can only imagine what he could have done with good knees. It does not matter to me if you have a completion percentage of 50 per cent if you throw 4 65 yard TD passes and win a Super Bowl.
