124
I can't stand this continious ass banging of the New York Giants organization. This is the same organization, with Tiki Barber mind you, that went 8-8 and barely made the playoffs last season. Now, without Tiki Barber, their O/U is still at 8.5? WTF!? How the **** do the Giants manage to get rewarded FIVE night games and the Jets just ONE when the Jets went 10-6 and earned a playoff berth and have a much better team heading into '07 and are only set at 7.5 for their O/U on wins. **** the NFL & **** Vegas. johnny green balls
unders are statistically a better bet. a lot more people bet over for their team than under for other teams. this adds up to 263 wins, there are only 256 games during the regular season meaning vegas adds in a win-bias to their numbers (in addition to juice). works out to roughly 8.5 wins and 7.5 losses each week. obviously impossible. that being said, here's my favorites (with the caveat that in the nfl, it's nearly impossible to predict success before the season starts based on the past). ATLANTA O/U- 8 1/2 UNDER, DENVER O/U- 9 1/2 OVER, denver's D will be absolutely nasty this year. if cutler continues to improve, watch out. DETROIT O/U- 5 1/2 OVER, call it a hunch but the NFC still sucks and detroit has a lot of weapons. a healthy kevin jones is the key. JACKSONVILLE O/U- 9 1/2 UNDER, always promise, always under-deliver. never been a slowwich fan. jones-drew is the man though, give this team a deep threat and they could be ready to roll. KANSAS CITY O/U- 7 1/2 UNDER, duh. MIAMI O/U- 7 1/2 UNDER, fins suck and i never liked green. easy bet for me. MINNESOTA O/U- 6 1/2 UNDER, D exposed by belly last year plus who is throwing the rock??? NEW ENGLAND O/U- 11 1/2 UNDER, never bet on a team to win 12 games in a parity league. period. NEW YORK JETS O/U- 7 1/2 OVER, homer bet. OAKLAND O/U- 5 1/2 UNDER, 6 wins in the AFC is tough even for teams with more talent (e.g. bills) PHILADELPHIA O/U- 9 1/2 UNDER, every year people count the birds out. every year they win and win and win. not this year. gonna be a long season in philly. PITTSBURGH O/U- 8 1/2 UNDER, new system and does anyone trust big ben anymore? SAN FRANCISCO O/U- 7 1/2 OVER, believe the hype. SEATTLE O/U- 8 1/2 UNDER, stick a fork in SEA and shaun alexander. ST. LOUIS O/U- 7 1/2 OVER, NFC sucks, not many teams can keep up with Holt/Bulger/Jackson TAMPA BAY O/U- 7 1/2 UNDER if simms starts, OVER if garcia starts. TENNESSEE O/U- 7 1/2 UNDER, teams will come up with ways to slow VY down forcing him to throw, he'll have some growing pains this year. plus they got RB issues. WASHINGTON O/U- 7 1/2UNDER, hahahahaha. of course this is all just for fun, teams go from worst to first in a year or two span in today's NFL and these are hard bets to win. PFSIKH
You really think the Jets are going to win 7 games or fewer? Willing to put some money on that? Do not think it is that far of a stretch. New England x2 Baltimore Philadelphia Cincinnati Pittsburgh Dallas 7 games I think the Jets would be lucky to be much more then 2-5 in. Outside of KC and Cleveland, I do not see the Jets as a prohibitive favorite in any game. 8-8 is a strong possibility. Under that is not that big of a stretch. Irish Jet
ARIZONA O/U- 7 1/2-over, good QB + amazing weapons+ improved line = 8 wins (defence needs to step up to get more IMO) ATLANTA O/U- 8 1/2-under,franchise is a shambles at the mo courtesyof Ron Mexico BALTIMORE O/U- 9 1/2-under,not enough offence + strong division= barely under BUFFALO O/U- 6 1/2-over, think they will be better this season CAROLINA O/U- 8 1/2-over, they are too good to underacheive 2 years in a row in the weak NFC CHICAGO O/U- 9 1/2-under, they lost too much and still have Rex under centre CINCINNATI O/U- 9 1/2-over, I like this young team a lot this season.I see them going far. CLEVELAND O/U- 6 1/2-under, they look very weak at the moment at QB. I think they will bring in Quinn around mid-season were he will impress but not win. Romeo will be gone at seasons end. DALLAS O/U- 9 1/2-under, very overated QB IMO and their very obvious weaknesses on defence will be exploited big time this year(Roy Williams) DENVER O/U- 9 1/2-over, with Cutler in his rookie year and a very good RB in T Henry the Broncos will be a very tough team this year DETROIT O/U- 5 1/2-over, I think they will improve enough to get 6 wins GREEN BAY O/U- 7 1/20-under, Favres only interested in the record this season IMO and doesnt have the weapons required to be succesful HOUSTON O/U- 6 1/2-under, need an O-line. That D is starting to look scary though. INDIANAPOLIS O/U- 10 1/2-under, the Colts are gonna get run all over next year. Manning will win a few on his own but I think the Colts defence will lead to a rough year for Indy JACKSONVILLE O/U- 9 1/2-over, if Leftwich is healthy this is my SB pick. Great, great defence + the best running back tandem in the league IMO.Young, big recievers + Tight end should come on a lot. KANSAS CITY O/U- 7 1/2-under, Why? Herm Edwards. MIAMI O/U- 7 1/2-under, why? They suck MINNESOTA O/U- 6 1/2-over, saw some real potential in T Jackson last year and I think he may surprise a few people, added to the running tandem of Peterson and Taylor I feel the Vikings could become a force in the weak NFC NEW ENGLAND O/U- 11 1/2-over,#1/#2 seed IMO. NEW ORLEANS O/U- 9 1/2-over, they will be even better than last year IMO. Think Bush will breakout big time NEW YORK GIANTS O/U- 8 1/2-under, look awful at the moment NEW YORK JETS O/U- 7 1/2-over, Much better team than last year will lead to 9/10 wins due to tougher schedule. Chad will have a great year IMO proving all his doubters wrong. OAKLAND O/U- 5 1/2-under, they will be better but J- Russ/Mc Cown will be killed behind that line. PHILADELPHIA O/U- 9 1/2- over,Best team in a weak NFC IMO as long as Mc Nabb stays healthy this team should get to the SB. PITTSBURGH O/U- 8 1/2-over, very talented team will be much better this year now Bens healthy. Ive heard lots of positive things about Tomlin SAN DIEGO O/U- 10 1/2-over, L.T + a great defence = wins. Unsure about Rivers though. SAN FRANCISCO O/U- 7 1/2-over, they have made a lot of great additions to an already talented team. They should be good for 8/9 wins SEATTLE O/U- 8 1/2-under, very overated IMO and Alexander is running out of gas. ST. LOUIS O/U- 7 1/2-over, that offence is just scary when Bulgers healthy. If defence can step up at all this team will be a serious contender. Prepare for shootouts galore. TAMPA BAY O/U- 7 1/2-Garcia at QB -under - Simms at QB -under Doesnt matter whose at QB the O-line isnt good enough and defence is aging big time. TENNESSEE O/U- 7 1/2- under, Vince Young is seriously overated + no weapons + bad defence. I think the Titans will the first selection of 2008 NFL draft. WASHINGTON O/U- 7 1/2- over, Jason Campbell will only get better. They have a great running tandem and a potentially great defence.

I wish we were NEVER awarded a night game... I'd prefer every single one of our games was played on Sunday, 4pm. There are a TON of Giants fans around the country... more than most other teams (maybe with the exception of the Cowboys and Steelers). That's why they get a ton of night games. Now onto the over unders. They're just betting lines, in an attempt to get 50% of the money on each side of the fence....therefore Vegas making money on the VIG and taking no risks... That's what betting lines are.. nothing more nothing less. A lot of people feel the Jets overachieved this year, and with a tougher schedule may not fare the same way this year. They could be wrong... place your money down if you think so..
