gangreenman
If Clemens loses the backup job to a useless piece of crap like Tuiasosopo his draft pick will be one of the worst in jet history. You can't say that until he retires or is forced out of the NFL... How many good players (especially QB's) do you think came out and were all pros the 1st year on the job? Not many. It takes learning time to adjust to the NFL, especially if you're a QB who has to focus on everything that he, the offense around him, and the defense is doing. Kellen Clemens should be given time before we label him as "one of the worst draft picks in Jet history."
serphnx
Being suckier than former high drafted QBs that didn't make the transition to the NFL is not new for Helen. Did you all forget Patrick Ramsey?
GimmeShelter
Its MINICAMP, not even Training Camp. This is exactly why the rosters and starting lineups are not determined a month or two after the draft. Also, not trying to make it sound like Tui is god, but he played in Oakland, behind a HORRIBLE offensive line. He was very good in college and I think Andrew Walter would do very well outside of Oakland. Both have strong arms and could play much better elsewhere. Anyway, when all is said and done, Kellen will be the #2 to start the season and eventually will be Chad's replacement. How long before your Team Tui sig appears? KSJets
Remember that our offense isn't exactly a Hermified offense either. It's a very complicated offense. It's not just "line up under and center and hand off". The QB has to get everyone lined up and with all of the shifting they do, I imagine it would take a young QB some time to get the hang of it. Tui's used to the speed of the NFL already. Clemens is still finding this out.
