Not embelished in any way whatsoever, and i am sure the big shiney yellow hunk of very expensive metal i was in did a lot to attract them. Anyway, he told me that perhaps I should remind my staff about being "professional" at all times. Now, that set me off. Having my staff thrown under the bus just bugs me. I asked the main receptionist and she tells me that the person on the phone was rude, angry and called her by her first name and requested that he announce the call "Bill is on the line." Which she did. I have a lot of faith in the receptionist and I rather doubt she's a liar. The man on the line was an attorney. Who do you think is the liar? I'm a little pissy that 1) these attorney's are poop heads, 2) that the attorney goes over MY head and 3) that to appease these arseholes, you just bite bullett and have the "staff" take the abuse? I call bullsh*t! I told my boss as much too. That's just ridiculous.

Welker has had two good games against the Patriots. Last year he had 9 catches for 77 yards and the year before, he ripped them for a 47 yard gain in a 2 catch for 61 yards. For an undrafted free agent, that is not that bad.

The Patriots have spent two second round picks on receivers that have not accomplished what Welker has in his short career. A guy essentially walks on to a team and has 29 catches his rookie year and 67 his second year.

Maybe, the price is steep, but no more so then sinking 60 million into a QB off of one good season.

Welker isn't even in the discussion w/ Branch and jackson as a rookie w/limited playing time already has 3 times as many TDs as Welker. I'd sooner take my chances w/ jackson then have to overpy in $ and picks for welker.
