Bob
This guy is screwing Moose left and right. The Sox are going to kill him if they get six strikes per at bat and can only strike out swinging.

Barton
Same thing yesterday with Pavano, totally squeezed on the outside corner, changed the whole game in the 2nd inning. He had Varitek KO'ed and pitch was called a ball, varitek gets a hit, another bad call a few pitches later, and a big rally. F these umps
TaborJet
The strike zone seemed high and tight. Wells caught onto it after the 1st inning. He was throwing a lot of those high curveballs that were called strikes. That's why the yanks were swinging at the high ones. Moose was trying to hit the low corners and was just missing. It's amazing how an ump can change the outcome of a game due to his "personal" strike zone.
faba
How come there seems to be a problem giving other teams's credit- allways the umpires fault when the Yankees lose- pinching the strike zone- when your pitchers are getting rocked two games straight- give Bosox hitters some credit- common lets be a little fair here

The Sox just hit the ball, period. Wells had good control of his curve. The Yanks seemed impatient at the plate.

Welcome to my world... When Mike Missina threw 75 pitches to get 6 outs...you should assume that he is a little bit of a problem, no? oh, one other interesting tidbit: The 5 guys currently in the Red Sox starting rotation make LESS than Mike Mussina. Hows that "spending money wisely" thing working out for ya?
