Ken Grffey Sr vs Bobby Bonds

Bonds was a better all around offensive player, Griffey was the better home run hitter and fielder and a much more important position.

Personally, Id probably take Griffey in his prime.

You sure you read SR...at the end of Ken Griffey.?

Bobby Bonds had much more power and was a annual 30-30 threat.

Griffey Sr. except for his early years with the Reds was basically a 4 or 5 games a week player who only has any publicity due to Junior and the fack Sr. was on some great teams.

Bobby Bonds was 10x the player Griffey Sr. was.

Yep

Griffey SR was more of a slap hitting speedster in his early years with the Reds, and gained more power as his career went on.

Bobby Bonds SR was the prototypical power speed guy, like GS said he was a 30/30 player consistently. the only thing was that he was always a leadoff hitter despite his power which probably hurt his numbers in the long run.

Great trade for the Yankees, Bonds to California for Mickey Rivers and Ed figueroa.

Goodness, I overread the headline and thought it was a Griffey junior/Barry Bonds debate.
