Taking the little brother to ozzfest thursday at pnc, then just staying down the shore for the weekend. It is near the end of the summer and I am cashing in all my summer chips! My legs still hurt from my extreme jetski antics this past weekend and my liver is sclerosing nicely, but this weekend I will be turning it up a notch. So no preseason game for me.

joebaby, you are NOT ready for this season, it is extremely clear. You are a wuss! Some season ticket holder you are!

listen here youngster, preseason tailgating is like preseason games and training camp, it is for the young'ins to get their reps. The seasoned pros and vets don't need the warmup. But you keep practicing, and someday you will be able to bunk in the vets dorm;)

btw, yes I am terribly ashamed of this pic, I am a bad man, we totally made a mess and littered as you can see.

Okayyyy, is this game on National TV this time ?

Yes, but judging by this thread the stadium will consist of me and my friend, plus 80, 4HCrew and Can't Hackett.

8pm, FOX - Nationally televised.

Boy the stadium might be even emptier than last week and the starters will play longer and the weather, hopefully, will be nicer.

I hope Woody notices how empty the stadium is. Nobody is using their full price tickets to watch scrubs? Effin thief!

The JETS should have just have a place people could forward their pre-season tickets to so the could be (A) given to kids with cancer or (B) service men or women returning from service in IRAQ or AFGANASTAN (for free) instead of going to waste

They do:

  • The New York Jets have initiated a charitable ticket turn-back program with the United Way of New York City. TIX FOR KIDS provides a vehicle for season ticket holders to release unused game tickets, which are then made available to underprivileged children throughout the New York region. The United Way has an extensive network of mentoring agencies such as Mentoring USA, The Mentoring Partnership of New York, The Children's Aid Society, Boys and Girls Clubs and Big Brothers-Big Sisters to name a few.
  • Log in to your My Jets Account and click Forward your tickets to charity. There is no charge for this service.

OR

  • Tickets may be sent to the address below. Be sure to include your full name, address and day time phone number along with your tickets. To help us distribute tickets in an efficient manner please mail your envelope(s) back as far in advance as possible, but no later than two weeks prior to the game you are returning.
  • Upon receipt of your ticket donation, the United Way will issue a written letter of confirmation recognizing your charitable donation for tax purposes.
    • Tickets to be donated should be sent to the following address:
      Attn: M. Garrett
      TIX FOR KIDS PROGRAM
C/o United Way of New York City
      2 Park Avenue
      New York, NY 10157-2550

I hope that puts things in perspective....
