The Gun Of Bavaria
Leading NL SS Vote Getter: Nomar Garciaparra - Played 14 games this season. I rest my case. It's nothing but a popularity contest. Time to strip the fans of their voting rights. If not, make fan balloting 25% of the process. Take a look at the current leaders in All-Star voting, there is crime afoot. A lot of good players are about to get robbed.
Barton
not to mention TINO does not deserve to be on the all star team, neither does manny ramirez and quite a few others whose names have escaped me. All-star voting is a complete JOKE, it's pathetic. Even a homer like myself, I always vote fair.

The Troll
The biggest joke is Albert Pujols having hundreds of thousands more votes than Derek Lee, who is currently leading the NL in nearly every major category.

Blackout
my selections AL: C-Varitek 1B-Ortiz 2B-Roberts SS-Tejada 3B-Arod RF-Sheffield CF-Hunter LF-Podsednik UTL IF: Guillen, Soriano, Jeter UTL OF: Damon, Mench, Suzuki NL: C-Hernendez 1B-Lee 2B-Kent SS-Barmes 3B-Glaus RF-Abreu CF-Clark LF-Carlos Lee UTL IF: Pujols, Izturis, Lopez UTL OF: Cabrera, Burrel, Bradly these lineups might not look as intimidating as the ones in previous years, but they are definetely better than the last 10 years 'steroiders-who-hit-.250-and-strikeout-more-than-they-hit' players

Pudge will be there, no doubt. Carlos should be there too. Hell, Brandon Inge has a case. He's the rock for the Tigers this year. Just never Carlos Pena...
