nj meadowlands
Virtual, as in, not really? As in, you can't distinguish between a .558 and a .559 winning percentage when one team has played 2 less games.
nj meadowlands
Do they determine play-offs by which part of the schedule 80 wants to reference? No, they determine playoffs by whose fans make the most unfunny, snide, pretentious comments. Thanks to you the Mets have locked up homefield for the next 10 years. I can VERY EASILY distinguish between .559 and .558. One is higher than the other.

Leave it to Scott Dierking to neglect the second part of the sentence. Fair enough. Enjoy the Mets' slow-motion second half trainwreck.

Barton
Do they determine play-offs by which part of the schedule 80 wants to reference? Tigers sucked down the stretch last season but drew a favorable play-off opponent. Yanks cant even play .500 in the freakin AL East. This "freakin al east" is stronger than any division in the NL. Barton
How did the Yankees do against the NL? Better then they have done vs the al east. thanks for proving my point. btw, i think it was you who said you dont judge how a team does for a week or so (like interleague play), because maybe they are on a hot/cold streak. Yup, pretty sure this was you.
