Papageorgio268
I just got my 360 back after they fixed an internal hardware problem. They reset the system, so i lost all of my network settings. I dropped $50 bucks before to get some tech guy to set it up so i could go on Xbox live, but i lost all of the settings. Here is my set-up: Xbox 360 wireless Networking device and a belkin wireless G+ router. It says on the settings that it detects a network, but it says that there is no ip address. Last time i tried to do this on my own, i lost all internet because i accidentally reset it and i don't want to have to call anyone to get that reset again. Can anyone help? (I know i was a little skimpy on the details, but if you need to know more info, just let me know.) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Papageorgio268
it should automatically detect it unless you have some sort of password or fire wall It detects the fact that there is a network there, but it says that the IP address test failed. Also, i don't have any password protection on my network. Also, if one of the mods could fix the typo in the title, that would be great.
Maxman
Is your router set to use DHCP? Basically if your router gives out an IP address you should be all set. Unless you have encryption setup in which case you need that info.
Pragmatic Bus
the easiest thing to do would be to reset your router. shove a pencil point in a small hole behind your router and that will reset everything to default factory setting
