drago
if you say one of those words in a thread title, it is a bad thread...making this thread three times worse than most, but i thought i'd throw that out there. (not a bad george harrison song either...)

"Pics of me doing a handstand in my panties" "F$$k me if I am wrong, but the Jets oline is stout, discuss" Any of those threads would most likely not suck

(not a bad george harrison song either...) It's amazing how those guys were still recording together while serving each other with papers. I think alot of great music was squeezed out of that crucible towards the end. Billy Preston's influence on the band also has to be pointed out- He was there when Paul did Lady Madonna, Let it Be, Hey Jude... Billy was there when John did Don't let me down. This one by Paul kind of captures the vibe they were all feeling that George expressed with I Me Mine... You never give me your money You only give me your funny paper and in the middle of negotiations you break down I never give you my number I only give you my situation and in the middle of investigation I break down Out of college, money spent See no future, pay no rent All the money's gone, nowhere to go Any jobber got the sack Monday morning, turning back Yellow lorry slow, nowhere to go But oh, that magic feeling, nowhere to go Oh, that magic feeling Nowhere to go One sweet dream Pick up the bags and get in the limousine Soon we'll be away from here Step on the gas and wipe that tear away One sweet dream came true today Came true today Came true today (yes it did) One two three four five six seven, All good children go to Heaven

I didn't read it first hand, but my dad said he read that McCartney put that song together from little riffs he wrote as a teenager and had just always held onto. Pretty amazing way to make a song. This is just another goal in the long line of achieved nothingness in my time of living.

Pretty amazing way to make a song. yeah, they did that alot, supposedly they rarely sat down and thought about writing songs, especially john, supposedly many of his lyrics he would sit down and write at the very last moment, sometimes right before going on stage to sing them, paper with lyrics jotted down and all.
