I had been pretty down on the Wii until this game. My son bought it with some of his birthday money. The other night he asked me to help him get through a tough part so I started playing and couldn't put the controller down. I'm hooked.

psst...

You smell that? Smells like bull****.

You bought Zelda. C'mon, admit it. It's like buying your wife a Tom Brady jersey in your size for her. I mean really.

Just say you like Zelda, and all is forgiven.

That game is great Alk, I'm glad you like it!

Have you ever played Resident Evil 4? One of the best games ever made IMO, the Wii has the best version too by far, and it's a bargain title at $30.

Metroid Prime 3 just came out too, another AAA title.

Here is a linky to the review, first vid: http://media.wii.ign.com/media/748/748547/vids_1.html

There are other great Wii games but I went with these because I have a good feeling that you'll like them.

RE4 is not recommended for kids though, it's a violent game.

When we walked by Gamestop my son stopped dead in his track. They had a cardboard cutout for Metroid Prime. He has Metroid on his gameboy and loved it so now he HAS to have this one. :)

Haha! It's awesome to see that people are still enjoying the Metroid series 21 years after the first title hit the US. :)

The controls are amazing in MP3, dual analog can't touch it, dual analog still rocks though.

Just like IGN, I also recommend the advanced controls option for MP3, it's the only way to play.

The first Zelda for the N64 was great... you can download it for the Wii...

The adventures of Link will always be one of the best games I've ever played. Those sword battles in the caves are second to none when it comes to controls. Maybe we should all sell our xbox360's and ps3's and go get a WII.

I was actually thinking about the first two Zelda's a couple of days ago. I used to love those games, although Ocarina of Time got annoying with all that damn rushing around. I never bought the games though, I had only rented them, and now I want them and there nowhere to be found. Dammit!

P.S. I have my Slayer car semi-finished for you, el gringo. :)

What system is that game you're talking about on. I'm seriously thinking about going with a 360 again because I'm beginning to think that there is going to be very little seperating these two systems for the next 5 years other than about $200.

Xbox 360, Forza 2's the name. Oh yeah, by the way, Haze just went full PS3 exclusive. (not that I'm gonna get it :))

I GOTTA get a wireless adapter!!

The original Zelda on the 8 bit Nintendo is still one of my most favorite games ever. After that it would be Ocarina of Time on the 64. There is also one on the gameboy advance I played a few years ago that was good...Legend of the 4 swords or something like that.

I haven't played Twilight Princess (I don't own a nintendo system other than the original) but a friend of mine has it on the wii and it looks great.

Its Forza2, its the best racing game I've every played my entire life. Better than any Gran Turismo. That, along with Gears of War and call of duty 4, is worth the xbox360. Look at this game, its looks like call of duty 4 will be an AMAZING game, hopfully better than Socom. Check this link preview:

Well, friday night we were at the video store so Grant could rent a game for the Wii. I was browsing through the PS3 and 360 titles and noticed that there were three times as many games for the 360. I looked at my wife and said you know? I'm really thinking that I could settle for a 360. She didn't even bat an eye and just said "Really?" Which is a huge improvement considering she almost fell out of her chair laughing when I told her how much the PS3 was. :)
