Kentucky Jet
PATS HAVE PUNTER CONVENTION A league source tells us that the New England Patriots worked out four punters on Friday, a day after dumping rookie Danny Baugher and signing veteran Chris Hanson. Visiting with the Pats on Friday were Paul Ernster, Sean Douglas, Ken Parrish, and Sam Paulescu. Meanwhile, there are rumblings on the Intergoogle suggesting that Baugher's abrupt departure was unrelated to performance. These are uncorroborated and unverified, and we've passed the info along to our friends in the "real" media for further investigation. With that said, it's odd that the Pats would dump Baugher before signing Hanson, and would then bring in a bunch of guys behind Hanson for look-sees. Good... maybe he'll bobble some of the long snaps and we can get some turnovers
Kentucky Jet
Good... maybe he'll bobble some of the long snaps and we can get some turnovers That is what I was thinking. I love it when there is turmoil in Cinderellaland!
